YMCA Exeter resident gears up for London Marathon

On 27th April we’ll be cheering on our first ever YMCA Exeter resident, taking part in the London Marathon.

John completed a fabulous run in Exeter’s half marathon, back in May 2023 and is now upping the distance, with his sights set on the full marathon.

“I’m excited and nervous,” says John. “I’m confident having done the half marathon and also looking forward to running over landmarks like Tower Bridge.”

Training through the dark, cold winter is a massive commitment of its own and we’re so proud of John for taking on this epic challenge.
